KDCCI and PDC Collaborate to Highlight Key State Budget Investments for the Pilbara

KDCCI, in collaboration with the Pilbara Development Commission, thanks everyone who joined today’s State Budget briefing where Hon. Amber Jade Sanderson, Minister for the Pilbara, shared important updates on budget commitments benefiting the region.

The budget includes a $500 million increase to the Strategic Industries Fund to support major projects and infrastructure development in Strategic Industrial Areas such as Boodarie and Maitland. It also provides $43.2 million for the Mulataga residential land development in Karratha, backed by a partnership with the Commonwealth. Additional funding includes $1.6 million to advance the Pilbara Energy Transition Plan, $4.2 million to accelerate water planning efforts, and $1 million to expand renal health services.

These investments will play a vital role in creating jobs, improving housing, and enhancing healthcare services across the Pilbara. We appreciate the strong collaboration with PDC in bringing this event to the community.
